Job Title: Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Location: Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type: Days, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and respond with appropriate treatments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and interventions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy within a healthcare specialty.
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with credentials as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) through the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• State licensure or certification as required by Georgia.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and RRT certifications from AHA.
• Must be credentialed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) through the Georgia Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in hospital environments during holiday seasons.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) and minor holidays (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve).
