Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry setting.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage IVs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies promptly.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid IN state nursing license.
- Current ACLS and BCLS certifications.
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and IV starts.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
- Strong communication and clinical skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry unit.
- Familiarity with post-surgical patient care, including gastric and bowel surgeries.
- Knowledge of COVID-19 related patient management.
