- Full-time, Contract, 12-hour evening shifts (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced perioperative nursing care in a busy operating room environment including neuro, orthopedic trauma, kidney transplants, and general surgery cases.
- Scrub for or circulate during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Assist with robotic surgeries, organ procurements, and specialty procedures such as neuro, spine, ENT, GYN, urology, and trauma cases.
- Respond to on-call emergencies with a 30-minute response time, including short call shifts late at night.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate smooth surgical workflows and patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
- BILH coversheet submission required.
- Experience in neuro, orthopedic trauma, kidney transplants, and general surgery preferred.
- Ability to scrub and/or circulate in high-acuity surgical settings.
- Ability to respond promptly to on-call emergencies.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in robotic surgeries, organ procurement, or complex transplant procedures.
- Familiarity with trauma, ENT, spine, and head & neck surgeries.
- Ability to float between West, East, or CVI operating rooms as needed.

Additional Notes

- No local travelers accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Parking costs may apply.
- Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly; on-call hours are not guaranteed.
- RTO requests must be approved at time of submission.
