Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' communication, speech, language, swallowing, cognitive, and breathing functions across various settings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Provide skilled therapy interventions to maximize patients’ functional communication and swallowing abilities.
• Document all assessments, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with departmental and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate therapy activities with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety, compliance, and professional standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Oregon (in good standing).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or home health settings preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in home health, hospital inpatient, and outpatient environments.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
