Job Title: Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech
Location Denver, CO
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities:
• Administers roentgen rays and radioactive substances to patients • Operates X-ray equipment, develops film, and prepares patient rooms, equipment, and supplies • Provides patient services using imaging modalities, following prescribed techniques • Determines technique for ionizing radiation during radiologic exams and prepares barium preparations • Cleans and disinfects X-ray rooms and equipment, and maintains radiographic technique charts • Provides formal and informal education to staff and peers
Required Qualifications:
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association • CO Radiology License • RD ARRT certification • 2 years of experience in radiology technology
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience with mobile X-ray units • Familiarity with emergency trays and weekly reporting requirements • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
