Key Responsibilities
- Administer roentgen rays and radioactive substances to patients.
- Operate X-ray equipment, develop films, and prepare patient rooms, supplies, and medications.
- Perform imaging procedures using various modalities, ensuring proper technique and patient positioning.
- Adjust equipment settings and shields to obtain optimal images, including determining appropriate exposure parameters.
- Prepare chemical mixtures such as barium for imaging procedures.
- Observe patient condition during procedures, report abnormal occurrences, and record relevant information.
- Develop and process films in accordance with photographic standards.
- Clean and disinfect X-ray rooms and equipment following safety protocols.
- Explain procedures to patients and family members, transfer and position patients, and assist throughout the process.
- Transport mobile X-ray units to patient rooms as needed.
- Maintain supply inventory, review and update radiographic technique charts, and perform general office duties.
- Conduct routine inspections of emergency trays and write weekly reports.
- Transport patients safely and provide education to staff and peers as needed.
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (attached to submission).
- ARRT certification in Radiography (RD ARRT) (attached to submission).
- SC Radiology Technician license (attached to submission).
- Registration with the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) (attached to submission).
- Familiarity with GE X-ray equipment and OEC C-arms in the OR.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of radiologic technologist experience.
- Experience working with mobile and portable X-ray units.
- Knowledge of radiologic procedures and safety protocols.

Schedule and Additional Details
- Shifts: Days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexibility possible).
- Start Date: Approximately October 1, 2025.
- Location: 1304 West Bobo Newsom Highway, Hartsville, SC 29550.
- Duration: 13-week assignment with potential extension.
