Job Title
- Cath Lab / Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist
Location
- Plano, TX
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Day shift, 4/10’s, rotating weekday off, on-call rotation of 8-9 days per month, including one weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology procedures in the lab
- Prepare procedure rooms and equipment, ensuring all tools are sterile and ready
- Instruct and monitor patients' conditions before, during, and after procedures
- Provide routine and emergency care as needed during interventions
- Contribute to team training, orientation, and ongoing education
- Support quality control initiatives through auditing, reporting, and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Must hold an RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), ARRT-R Radiography credential, or similar certification (e.g., RCES, CEPS, CCDS)
- Minimum of an associate degree from an accredited institution or two years of relevant cath lab experience in lieu of degree
- Certification in ACLS and BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in electrophysiology (EP) labs or cardiac device procedures
- Knowledge of advanced cardiovascular imaging and invasive techniques
