Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a Medical/Surgical department.
- Collaborate with a team of nurses and a full-time hospitalist physician to deliver quality patient care.
- Assist in patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating clinical competence and professionalism.
- Follow facility protocols and safety standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of three years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a rural hospital or similar setting.
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to new environments and procedures.
