Job Title

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced, large teaching hospital setting.
• Collaborate with medical teams to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and deliver treatment.
• Administer medications, perform clinical procedures, and monitor patient responses.
• Document patient information accurately using the hospital's electronic medical records system.
• Adjust schedules as needed to meet the unit's patient care demands, including working every other weekend.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications
• Active RN license on file at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required; TNCC must be documented before start date.
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• Prior experience in large (500+ beds), teaching hospital facilities preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Certifications in CEN, ENPC, MOAB, or other de-escalation training such as CPS.
• Experience in ER settings with multiple facilities and complex patient cases.
