• Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care on a 24-bed telemetry unit, including post-operative recovery and monitoring of cardiac and surgical patients
• Utilize telemetry equipment and post-op monitoring tools to ensure patient stability and safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in Meditech EMR
• Maintain adherence to unit policies, protocols, and safety guidelines
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with varied patient cases, including elective surgeries, cath lab procedures, and patients with complex medical needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact license eligible
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification (must have)
• NIH stroke scale certification (must have)
• 2+ years of recent telemetry and/or surgical recovery experience
• Ability to effectively multi-task and work well in a team setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with cardiac telemetry, post-catheterization, or surgical recovery units
• Knowledge of cardiac drips and non-titrating medications such as heparin
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
