Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized critical care nursing in ICU settings, focusing on neuro or cardiovascular patients.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Document patient care activities accurately and professional.
- Deliver compassionate and patient-centered care during night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license.
- Minimum of 3 years of critical care experience.
- High acuity experience in cardiovascular/cardiac surgery or Neuro ICU.
- Certification in BLS, NIHSS, and ALCS.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in high-acuity ICU settings, particularly CV or Neuro ICU.
- Knowledge of neuro or cardiac patient management.
