Registered Nurse Oncology
Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shift, Contract (13 weeks), with potential extension
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized bedside nursing care to oncology patients, including chemo administration
- Start IVs and manage infusion therapies in accordance with patient needs and protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records
- Observe and monitor for adverse reactions during treatments, responding promptly as needed
- Follow infection control and safety procedures to maintain a sterile environment
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of West Virginia
- 1.5 to 2+ years of recent oncology nursing experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; ONS chemo/bio certification preferred
- Knowledge of IV start procedures and infusion protocols
- Ability to work 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), including every other weekend
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in ONS chemo/bio procedures
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
