Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type: Night shift, full-time, contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients with various cancer diagnoses, focusing on physical and emotional well-being.
• Administer chemotherapy treatments, monitor for adverse reactions, and assist with clinical trials.
• Perform specialized procedures such as brachytherapy, CBI, and feeding tube management.
• Implement infection prevention protocols and ensure patient safety.
• Monitor telemetry readings, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize rapid response teams as needed.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using electronic medical records.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in chemotherapy administration and telemetry interpretation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Certification from Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) in chemotherapy.
• Experience with specialized oncology procedures such as brachytherapy.
• Ability to perform complex patient assessments and interventions.
