- Full-time, contract
- 3x12-hour shifts, rotating day/night schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond to patient needs promptly
- Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital policies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent (perm) experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments
- 18 months of recent Med/Surg/Tele experience, including travel experience, is acceptable
- Valid Ohio nursing license or license from a compact state
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working rotating shifts, including overnight
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
