Key Responsibilities
- Circulate and document patient care during surgical procedures in a hospital setting with 15 or more OR suites
- Sterile prepping of surgical sites, catheter insertion, and opening sterile supplies
- Properly position patients for various surgical procedures and ensure accurate documentation within electronic medical records
- Set up and utilize operating room equipment including cautery, lasers, laparoscopic tools, arthroscopy equipment, and Stealth navigation systems
- Assist with neuro and orthopedic procedures, including navigation techniques
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent OR RN experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds, level 1 trauma)
- Experience working in an acute care facility; outpatient center experience not applicable
- Proficiency with robotic surgery, specifically DaVinci preferred
- Valid RN license (ND or Compact) and BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong background in neuro and orthopedic procedures
- Experience with navigation systems in neuro or orthopedic surgeries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1

Additional Details
- Shifts: 8 or 10 hours, with potential to extend; rotating to PM shifts with all staff
- Call requirements: 1-2 days per week and every 3-4 weekends
- Floating to other units/departments including rare assignments at nearby campuses if needed
- Must badge in and out at the facility; scrubs provided in Ceil Blue
- Travel restrictions: Candidates must reside within 80 miles of Fargo; local rate applies for those within 60 miles, with a reduced client rate for those living between 60-80 miles
- Previous employment with Sanford Health must have ended at least 6 months prior to submission
