Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Location
• Fargo, ND

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shifts, 8 to 10-hour days, with potential for late shifts, rotating to PM shifts, and occasional call duties including weekends

Key Responsibilities
• Circulate and document inoperative procedures for patient care within the OR setting
• Prepare sterile fields, perform surgical site prep, and assist with equipment setup
• Insert catheters, position patients, and ensure sterile technique during surgeries
• Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment, including lasers, cautery, laparoscopic, and arthroscopy tools
• Maintain electronic documentation and ensure compliance with OR protocols
• Float to different OR units or campuses as needed, including rare assignments to other hospital locations

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years recent OR RN experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds, Level 1 trauma)
• Experience with general surgery, GYN, urology, laparoscopic procedures, and some neuro/orthopedic cases with navigation skills
• Valid RN license (ND or compact license)
• BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working with robotic systems, specifically DaVinci preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC system or similar electronic charting tools
• Experience in outpatient center settings is not applicable
