Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Precept new staff and assist with patient education and support.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to mother-baby units as needed based on hospital requirements.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including charting in Epic and following safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CA RN license (pending licenses not accepted).
- 3 years of nursing experience in labor and delivery or similar setting.
- Current ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP, and FHM certifications.
- Flexibility to work weekends and be available for on-call shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in precepting and supporting patient families.
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to handle high-stress situations.
- Experience working in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment.
