Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
- Float to different units as needed, including dementia care units.
- Adhere to all facility policies, including working scheduled hours and holiday requirements.
- Complete all required documentation and ensure compliance with facility standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
- BLS certification through AHA.
- Prior experience in LTC or SNF environments.
- Willingness to float to other units and work with dementia patients.
- Ability to pass a 7-year background check (nationwide, county court searches, FACIS 3, sex offender registry).
- Successful completion of FACIS 3 and VCIC within 30 days of start.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including dementia care.
