Key Responsibilities
- Provide preoperative nursing care to patients in the Pre-Op unit.
- Assess and prepare patients for surgical procedures, ensuring all protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate smooth patient transitions.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with clinical standards.
- Support patient education regarding surgical procedures and post-op instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pre-Op or related specialty.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS and NIHSS certifications.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a hospital setting, specifically in Pre-Op or surgical units.
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements
- Must work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).
