Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for neurology and medical-surgical patients on a telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
• Perform procedures such as Foley catheter insertions and IV starts.
• Document patient assessments and care plans in electronic medical records (Cerner).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certification in ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Experience working in a neurology or telemetry unit.
• Familiarity with standard med-surg equipment and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous neuro or stroke unit experience.
• Experience with patient procedures such as Foley insertions and IV starts.
• Outgoing and self-motivated personality.
