Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to adult patients in an acute care hospital setting
- Monitor patient cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes or emergencies
- Document patient data accurately utilizing Epic electronic health record system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and patient care best practices
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as required, with scheduled rotations
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina or multi-state/compact RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Epic electronic medical record experience
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in telemetry or related department
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Prior experience with patient ratios of 1:5 in a telemetry setting
