Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for individuals with medical conditions requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry data, promptly reporting any abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, including special procedures such as Tele.
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records.
• Support float needs across various units within acuity as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Delaware or Compact RN license in hand.
• At least 2 years of experience in a telemetry or specialized cardiac unit.
• Current certifications with valid expiration dates (e.g., BLS, ACLS).
• Strong understanding of telemetry monitoring and related procedures.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, totaling approximately 36 hours per week.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with critical care conditions like heart failure, arrhythmias, stroke, or covid-19.
• Knowledge of Cerner charting system.
• Comfort with performing advanced procedures such as Tele, heparin drips, TPN, and other infusion therapies.
