Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for individuals with medical conditions requiring telemetry monitoring.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry data, promptly reporting any abnormalities.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, including special procedures such as Tele.
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records.
- Support float needs across various units within acuity as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Delaware or Compact RN license in hand.
- At least 2 years of experience in a telemetry or specialized cardiac unit.
- Current certifications with valid expiration dates (e.g., BLS, ACLS).
- Strong understanding of telemetry monitoring and related procedures.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, totaling approximately 36 hours per week.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with critical care conditions like heart failure, arrhythmias, stroke, or covid-19.
- Knowledge of Cerner charting system.
- Comfort with performing advanced procedures such as Tele, heparin drips, TPN, and other infusion therapies.
