- Day shifts, full-time, hospital-based
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to labor and post-partum patients in an acute care hospital setting
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress during labor, delivery, and recovery phases
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Follow designated staffing ratios and orientation protocols
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic charting system
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards, including proper scrubbing attire
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and post-partum nursing experience
- Valid RN license in California (pending license considered unacceptable)
- ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRPC certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
- Ability to float between labor, post-partum, and related units if needed
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records and hospital protocols
