- Full-time, 13-week contract, Days shift, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre-operative nursing care to patients in the Pre-Surgery Clinic
- Assess patient health history and current condition to prepare for surgery
- Administer medications and manage patient needs prior to procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient readiness and safety
- Document patient information accurately in compliance with hospital protocols
- Educate patients and families about pre-surgical instructions and post-op care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a specialty setting, preferably in pre-op or surgical units
- Current and valid RN license in Georgia
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital outpatient or surgery center environment
- Strong assessment and patient communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
