Key Responsibilities

• Develop and calculate treatment plans for radiation therapy patients
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists and therapists to ensure accurate dose delivery
• Utilize advanced imaging and simulation equipment, including CBCT, kV/mV imaging, and Tomo Therapy
• Perform chart checks and ensure radiation safety compliance
• Contribute to the treatment process for various diagnoses including breast, lung, brain, prostate, and other cancers
• Float to additional sites if needed during staff shortages (rare occurrence)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of dosimetry experience in a clinical setting
• ARRT certified in Therapeutic Radiography (ARRT T) or equivalent
• Skills in adult outpatient cases, tumor localization, IMRT, respiratory gating, and treatment planning software such as ARIA and Vision/Varis
• Proficiency with treatment systems including TrueBeam and Siemens CT sim

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous traveler experience or willingness to travel as a first-time traveler
• Experience working with SBRT and various cancer diagnoses
• Certification or experience with radiation safety protocols

Additional Details

• Treatment of 20-30 patients daily, Monday through Friday
• RTO (Request for Time Off) not allowed after booking, and no onsite work outside scheduled hours
• Potential for work during catastrophic events or disasters as part of storm/hurricane teams
• Brief hospital orientation provided, additional clinic training at the site
• Uniform: Royal Blue scrubs
