Key Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) scans independently and accurately according to patient needs.
• Operate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality while maintaining patient safety.
• Support trauma patients by effectively scanning traumas in high-pressure situations.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and precise imaging procedures.
• Adhere to department protocols and maintain documentation of procedures performed.
• Work flexible schedule and be available for bi-weekly orientation sessions.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in CT.
• Ability to independently scan traumas.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system within the past 2 years.
• Must have prior experience with Phillips imaging equipment.
• Ability to apply for Vermont license at the time of offer.
• Prior experience working in a similar-sized teaching facility.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to start PIVs; candidates lacking this skill may not succeed in this role.
• Experience working in a busy hospital setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Information

• This assignment is for approximately 16–32 weeks.
• Travelers must work 2 out of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.
• Travel rate: $125; local rate: $115; radius: 51-100 miles; within 50 miles: $120.
• Must have reliable transportation; personal or rental vehicle recommended, equipped with all-season or snow tires for November–April.
• No block schedules; open to flexible scheduling within the week.
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained in application.
• Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type required for application.
