- Full-time, Day shifts, rotating weekly with weekend call, Monday to Sunday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting, supporting various specialties including Orthopedic, General, ENT, Urology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, OBGYN, and Endoscopy.
- Circulate and scrub as applicable, with preferred experience in scrub roles.
- Assist with C-section procedures, ensuring proper perioperative nursing care.
- Manage patient monitoring, documentation, and adherence to unit protocols using the EPIC system.
- Participate in rotating call shifts, including working 2 out of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day).
- Collaborate with anesthesia and respiratory support teams, ensuring equipment and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an Operating Room environment.
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- Experience with C-section procedures required.
- Recent EPIC EMR experience (within past 2 years).
- Reliable transportation, with vehicles equipped for winter conditions from November to April.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Scrub experience highly preferred; strong circulating skills accepted.
- Experience working in a trauma or critical access hospital environment is a plus.
