Full-time, Nights, 3x12s, rotating weekends, holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality labor and delivery nursing care to obstetric patients.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the labor and postpartum units.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, responding to changes as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe deliveries and postpartum recovery.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records utilizing EPIC.
- Assist with patient education and support during labor, delivery, and postpartum period.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
- Valid RN license.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
- Experience with low-risk obstetric patients and labor support.
- Prior experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in facilities with 100-200 births per month.
- Previous travel nursing experience in labor and delivery.
- Knowledge of pass/fail EKG requirements and compliance protocols.
