- Travel, Night shift, 16-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a busy Level III Trauma Center.
- Float to other units and hospitals as needed, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff.
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system.
- Adhere to all safety and clinical protocols, including certifications and licensure requirements.
- Work 36 hours per week during night shifts, including holidays and every other weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Nursing.
- Valid Alabama or Compact RN license (no temp licenses accepted).
- At least 2 years of ER nursing experience (or 18 months with relevant experience and a professional license).
- Certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, and Red Cross accepted.
- Additional certifications: TNCC, Secure on site.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in trauma and stroke centers.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
