Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and specialized nursing care to laboring mothers and postpartum patients in a busy acute care hospital.
- Manage labor and delivery processes, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with medical teams to coordinate patient care and respond to emergencies.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs during labor, delivery, and post-partum periods.
- Document patient progress and care activities using the Epic charting system.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and postpartum nursing experience.
- Valid nursing license; RTO restrictions apply (must include at time of submission).
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
- Willing to work 4x12-hour shifts upon request.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN Advanced certification preferred.
- Experience working in a high-volume acute care hospital setting.
- Ability to float between related units if needed.
