Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Assess patient needs, prepare the operating room, and assist surgeons and staff during surgeries.
• Manage patient monitoring, sterilization, and equipment during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain sterile field protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Document patient information and surgical details accurately using electronic medical records.

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent OR experience.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care standards.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records, preferably Epic EMR.
• Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic surgery, neuro, or ortho cases.
• Familiarity with the call schedule and flexibility for rotations, including weekends and holidays.
