- Full-time, night shift, 8-12 hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to psychiatric patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies
- Utilize hospital equipment including computerized charting and medication systems (Epic)
- Assess patient needs, monitor progress, and document care plans thoroughly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with ANA Standards of Clinical Practice, Indiana Nurse Practice Act, and relevant certifications
- Participate in patient and unit floating as needed, including Geriatric units
Required Qualifications
- Indiana RN License
- 1.5+ years of psychiatric RN experience
- BLS certification
- NVCI or CPI certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 1.5+ years of travel RN experience
- Experience working with youth and geriatrics (Bridgeways and Youth units)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
