Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dialysis treatments to patients on the fourth floor of a regional campus and at a satellite facility.
- Float between assigned units and hospitals as needed.
- Prepare and perform bedside and peritoneal dialysis using Meditech EMR.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during dialysis procedures.
- Collaborate with Certified Dialysis Technicians and healthcare team members.
- Adhere to facility policies, safety guidelines, and documentation procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Valid Alabama or compact state Registered Nurse license.
- BLS or Red Cross certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in dialysis.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Professional nursing certification in nephrology or dialysis.
- Experience with bedside and peritoneal dialysis techniques.
- Ability to float across units and adapt to different hospital environments.
