Schedule / Job Type

  • Full-time, travel, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dialysis treatments to patients on the fourth floor of a regional campus and at a satellite facility.
  • Float between assigned units and hospitals as needed.
  • Prepare and perform bedside and peritoneal dialysis using Meditech EMR.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during dialysis procedures.
  • Collaborate with Certified Dialysis Technicians and healthcare team members.
  • Adhere to facility policies, safety guidelines, and documentation procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in nursing.
  • Valid Alabama or compact state Registered Nurse license.
  • BLS or Red Cross certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in dialysis.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Professional nursing certification in nephrology or dialysis.
  • Experience with bedside and peritoneal dialysis techniques.
  • Ability to float across units and adapt to different hospital environments.
