Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy level-one trauma center operating room covering a variety of surgical specialties.
- Scrub and circulate surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and proper sterile technique.
- Manage on-call responsibilities, including up to one call shift per week and one weekend shift per month.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of operating room equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care before, during, and after surgeries.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including holiday coverage requirements and floating within scope as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State of South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Radiation badge (to be provided by agency).
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with scrub duties and familiarity with EPIC charting system.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Exposure to Level 1 trauma settings.
- Experience working with diverse surgical specialties including trauma, transplant, ortho, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotic surgeries.
- Ability to float within scope and work flexible schedules with manager approval.
