Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time; rotating shifts (5-8 hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced breast imaging procedures, including mammography, stereotactic biopsy, and needle localizations, under radiologist supervision.
- Capture high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with established protocols for ambulatory and hospital patients.
- Assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury through imaging, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment and related imaging rooms efficiently.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to provide accurate diagnostic information.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) by the Texas Medical Board.
- Registered with ARRT in Mammography (ARRT-M) and Radiology (ARRT-R).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Tech.
- At least 1 year of procedure experience in stereotactic biopsy and needle localizations.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with multiple imaging modalities including ultrasound and bone density.
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
