• Full-time, Days Shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), 3 twelve-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit following established standards and protocols.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms; respond appropriately to cardiac events.
• Complete assessments, administer medications, and coordinate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Document patient information accurately using the designated systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care and patient safety.
• Participate in orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• Must hold a current Ohio license or a Compact State license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
• Valid reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty (charge RN references accepted).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital setting with telemetry monitoring.
• Familiarity with using Lotus for submitting worked hours via Qualivis.
