Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed therapists in providing patient-centered physical therapy treatments.
• Implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress under supervision.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient responses.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and clinical protocols.
• Assist in the preparation of treatment areas and necessary equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland State License as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Prior experience with Rehab Optima or similar therapy management systems preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to perform basic screenings such as PPD, Quantiferon, or Chest X-ray proof.
• Compliance with all credentialing requirements including background checks and drug screenings.
• Successful verification of references and criminal background checks.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in outpatient or rehabilitation settings.
• Knowledge of multi-state criminal and sex offender searches.
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid background verification (HHS/OIG, GSA).
