Key Responsibilities
- Provide urgent and emergent nursing care to diverse patient populations in a high-volume Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke center.
- Monitor and assess patients using GE monitors and Baxter pumps, documenting care accurately within the Cerner system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment.
- Support triage and internal processing areas, maintaining a respectful and compassionate approach aligned with hospital protocols.
- Demonstrate flexibility to float across all ED sections as needed, maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.
- Adhere to hospital policies including AIDET, infection control, and patient experience initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications before start date
- PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS certifications before start date
- ENPC certification within 90 days of hire
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse, with at least 1 year in an emergency department setting.
- Experience in a Level 2 trauma center and high-volume EDs (over 100,000 visits) preferred.
- Previous HCA experience is a plus.

- Experience working in a diverse and multicultural community with over 120 languages spoken
- Knowledge of advanced emergency procedures and fast-paced environment
