Key Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering quality healthcare by providing skilled nursing care in an outpatient setting.
• Follow established healthcare procedures, standards, and policies to ensure patient safety and care quality.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient treatments and engage patients and families.
• Administer medications, treatments, and utilize exam and treatment equipment effectively.
• Participate actively in emergency situations, maintaining calm and providing effective responses.
• Communicate clearly with patients and team members, following written and verbal instructions from healthcare providers.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Pennsylvania Practical Nurse License.
• Meets American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider BLS and renews every two years.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
• Familiarity with physician office procedures and medical terminology.
• Ability to react calmly in emergency situations and analyze problems quickly.
• Basic knowledge of medication administration and medical equipment use.
