Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room across various age groups, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Monitor and respond to patient needs with variable patient ratios, ensuring safety and optimal care in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support staff to deliver comprehensive emergency services
- Rotate within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels, including floating across departments as needed
- Adhere to hospital protocols, complete documentation, and maintain accurate patient records
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of emergency room nursing experience
- Valid BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
- Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience in emergency settings
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic healthcare environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
