Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care for patients in a family birth setting.
- Manage couplet care, including postpartum and newborn care for babies 32 weeks and up.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based, patient-centered care.
- Support approximately 80+ deliveries per month, ensuring quality care during high-volume periods.
- Participate in call rotation, primarily one 12-hour night shift every 6 weeks, with rotational weekends.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards, including certifications and vaccines.
Required Qualifications
- Current Colorado RN license or valid compact license for practice in Colorado.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- NRP certification.
- STABLE certification.
- Flu vaccine required starting October 2025.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous labor and delivery experience, preferably in a high-volume setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a dynamic clinical environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, family-centered care.
