- Full-time, Night shift, 13-week contract (Travel)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients on a specialized unit.
- Assist with procedures such as chemo administration, pelvic exams, echo, and thoracentesis.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to their needs with compassion and professionalism.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety guidelines, and documentation standards.
- Support patient and family education regarding treatments and care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Active registered nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Ability to work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to learn.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in chemotherapy procedures.
- Experience in medical-surgical or oncology units.
- Comfortable with standard hospital equipment and EMR systems (Cerner preferred).
