Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, Night shifts, typically 3-4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized ICU care for critically ill patients, including airway management and ventilated patient care
• Manage dysrhythmias and interpret ABGs for accurate patient assessment
• Administer and titrate IV medications, including vasopressors and continuous sedation
• Implement and monitor infection control protocols and isolation precautions
• Perform central line management, arterial line observation, and IV drip regulation
• Conduct triage and documentation using computerized systems for ICU patients
• Support patient care for individuals with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure, including post-surgical and trauma patients such as neurosurgeries and thoracic surgeries

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in Kentucky or appropriate state or locale
• Minimum of 1.5+ years of recent ICU experience
• Certification in NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS
• Experience with airway management, vented patients, and dysrhythmia management
• Proficiency in interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias
• Able to manage complex patient scenarios including multisystem organ failure

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with fempops, carotid endarterectomies, post-thoracic surgeries, and neurosurgeries
• Familiarity with arterial line management, continuous IV sedation, and medication titration
• Strong triage skills, especially in ER or ICU holding areas
