Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Contract (13-26 weeks) – Night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to critical changes promptly.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
• Float to various units within Prisma Health as needed, based on competency and unit requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Current South Carolina nursing license or active multi-state license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to work night shifts.
• Demonstrated competency in ICU patient care.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous ICU or critical care nursing experience.
• Ability to adapt to different units and team environments.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Please note: To be eligible for holiday contracts, travelers must work at least 2 of the 3 major holidays and are not authorized to take time off between December 26th and December 31st. All staff may be required to float to other Prisma Health units per census needs, based on qualifications and documented competencies.
