Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Valid nursing license verified through Nursys or equivalent state board.
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedics and surgical nursing.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); additional certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work holidays and flexible schedules as required.
• Clear work history with no gaps greater than 60 days, including all demographic and certification information.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience working in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of orthopedic and surgical patient care.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
