• Full-time, Days, Travel Contract (13 weeks)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing monitoring equipment, IV pumps, and electronic documentation systems.
• Follow hospital protocols, including patient safety and infection control standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, ensuring respectful and compassionate interactions.
• Adhere to unit policies, including scheduling requirements and floating policies within ED sections.

Required Qualifications
• Valid license as a registered nurse (RN).
• At least 2 years of nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 year in an ER setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (or within specified timeframe).
• Experience working in a Level 2 trauma and comprehensive stroke center preferred.
• Ability to work flexibly across all areas of the ED and collaborate effectively with a team.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in a high-volume ED (over 100,000 visits annually).
• Prior HCA or similar healthcare system experience.
• Strong teamwork and coaching skills, with the ability to give real-time feedback.
• Familiarity with Cerner documentation system and advanced procedural skills in emergency care.
