Key Responsibilities
- Perform sleep studies and polysomnography procedures in a critical access hospital setting
- Monitor, record, and analyze sleep patient data using electronic health record systems
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during sleep testing
- Coordinate with medical staff to deliver accurate diagnostic results
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and certification requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a sleep technologist or polysomnographer
- BLS certification
- RPSGT certification or eligibility for pending license acceptance
- Ability to work nights, including every other weekend
- Willingness to float within scope as needed
- No on-call requirement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in critical access or magnet hospitals
- Familiarity with Cerner charting system
- Ability to accommodate block scheduling requests in coordination with management
