Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Full-time, Days shifts (either 5x8 or 4x10 days)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient speech language pathology services to adult patients in an acute hospital setting.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress in electronic health records following facility protocols.
- Float within scope of practice as needed to meet facility needs.
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification.
- Alaska state license in speech-language pathology.
- At least 1 year of outpatient adult speech therapy experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in an acute hospital environment.
- Familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Ability to work independently within scope of practice.
