Job Title

- Full-time, Night shifts, Travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to neuroscience and telemetry patients on a 36-bed unit.
- Monitor and respond to patient vitals and neurological assessments.
- Perform procedures such as Foley insertions and IV starts.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document care activities accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Adhere to unit policies, dress code, and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- ACLS and NIH certification.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience.
- Ability to float to other med-surg floors as needed.
- Outgoing, self-motivated personality.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior neuro or telemetry unit experience.
- Experience with EMR systems, preferably Cerner.
- Skills in Foley insertion and IV starts.
