Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour rotations, every other to every third weekend, no call required, floating to other units/departments as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a 15-bed ED with fast track and triage areas.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with the nursing process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient responses and interventions accurately in EPIC and Accudose systems.
• Assist with procedures and interventions typical in a Level III Trauma ED.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment, ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota RN license at time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years recent ER experience.
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), TNCC certifications.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule.
• Experience in high-volume EDs (annual visits around 28,000 or higher).
• Proficiency with EPIC and Accudose systems (training provided).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Level III or higher experience preferred.
• PALS certification.
• Experience working in fast-paced emergency settings with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:3 or 1:4.
• Prior experience working with Sanford Health (note: must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission if previously employed there).
